Gero Cacciatore (b. 1974) is a photographer born in Turin and based in Moneglia (Genoa). His work is dedicated to long-term projects, with a recurring interest in urban landscapes, architecture, identity and memory. Between 2015 and 2022 he produced the series Berlin Recordings, a visual diary and a study of the photographic process itself. Since 2021 he has been documenting the most important electronic music studios in Berlin and Cairo — a body of work that became the book Inside the Studio. Berlin/Cairo (Hatje Cantz, 2025), made with musicologist Matthias Pasdzierny and exhibited in Berlin, Cairo and Modena.
